Aluminium pneumoconiosis is a rare condition among the work-related pulmonary diseases. A case of radiologically and clinically severe interstitial pulmonary fibrosis is reported in a patient who had inhaled aluminium powder during thermal metal spraying over a time period of ten years. This disease might have been avoided if the necessary work process measures and occupational health procedures had been implemented.
