Under the auspices of the New Quality of Work Initiative (INQA), between 2005 and 2008 experts from various German OSH-institutes, authorities and companies established a work-group called the Thematic Network Group “Healthy Lung“. The aim of the group was to improve the prevention of chronic obstructive lung disease in workers subject to inhalative exposures and to interconnect previous activities in this field. This report presents the methods of work and main results of the group.
